What is the cost?
LLC is a no cost solution. There are no costs for lawyers/notaries or their customers.  
How long has the program been available?
LLC was launched in January 2009.
What lenders are participating?
Currently Scotiabank is the participating lender and LLC is their preferred method for instructing, processing, document handling and reporting of mortgage documents. Active discussions are currently underway with various lenders.
Does LLC require me to order title insurance from FCT?
No. We do not stipulate which title insurer is used. That choice is entirely up to the lawyer/notary.   
Is LLC integrated with Conveyancing platforms?
Yes, LLC is currently integrated with The Conveyancer® in Ontario. Other regional conveyancing platforms are currently being assessed and updates will be provided in the future.
What technology specifications are necessary to be compatible with LLC?
LLC is compatible with common technology used in today’s marketplace. LLC is a web-based solution; therefore no additional desktop software is required, however if you do have a question, we would be happy to assist you! To ensure you can enjoy the full functionality with your current computer technology, please contact LLC Support at the number listed below.
How do I train my staff?
Training is available both online through interactive tutorial videos, through a webinar that will be scheduled to suit your needs, or in person where possible. We are just a phone call away!
